The Regional Development Agency Medimurje - REDEA was founded in order to support the process of sustainable development of Medimurje County in Croatia. Our scope of the work is directly connected with the needs of Medimurje and includes following fields: entrepreneurship (consultancy, business and investment studies, credit lines, guarantee schemes), agriculture and rural development (credit lines, EU funds, promotional activities, education) investment climate (CIFR certificate, one-stop-shop for investors, business zones), education (for entrepreneurs, local government employees, farmers, vinegrowers, tourism workers), strategic documents, trade fair activities, working with clusters and EU funding. In this pre-accession period we concentrate our resources on acquiring EU funding. Agency facilitated the process of forming the first local energy agency in Croatia financed from the IEE Programme - Medjimurje Energy Agency. Redea currently implements 3 Interreg IIIA projects in the fields of entrepreneurship, investment climate and energy.
