ACHIEVED RESULTS
The main results achieved during project execution are the following:

  • Establishment of a solid partnership with ten participants. Partners expressed their commitment to the project objectives and expected results at the kick-off meeting by adopting and signing an internal Consortium Agreement and by adoption of Coordination, management and execution plan. Continuous communication by e-mails is ongoing between partners and future debate and communication is expected in the partners’ page of the project website;
  • Energy audits performed in four participating territories. After collecting relevant available data, partners have elaborated a comprehensive analysis of the current energy situation in terms of energy consumption and production in broad sectors of activity. The comprehensive energy audits are presented in national languages and one common summary report was elaborated in English language. Moreover, colleting and analyzing the data for energy audits allowed partners to establish contact with different professionals, associations, local authorities and stakeholders active in the field and interested in future project collaboration;
  • Intensive communication and dissemination activities. The project has been presented in different European, national and local events and several specialized and general press published information about the project. Furthermore, the project website, considered as one of the major communication and dissemination tools;
  • SEC model – the prepared documents showed the starting points and indicated guidelines for the sustainable development of local communities. We presented the guidelines, or the content of the SEC model, to different levels of local / regional decision makers, who always accepted them as an indispensable document;
  • EE-corner – is an approach, which in all the regions showed to be highly effective, since the visitors were enthusiastic about the possibility of seeing the actual case and the parallel presentation of the effects, as well as compared to the other systems. The visitors came from different sectors, so we think that it was very important that a lot of young people visited the e-corner;
  • E-courses – the courses that were prepare in Spain managed to include the contents suitable for all the EU countries. Students, who have completed the courses come from different countries. On completion the courses will be continued at the established platform. Like this it was also well prepared a very good promotional package for informing of participants;
  • Workshops and Seminars - in all 4 countries the implemented events definitely helped to raise awareness on RES & RUE, on sustainable development of local communities and particularly to greater knowledge of experts, who participated in the events;
  • Pilot approaches - from voluntary to commercial agreements, which represent a springboard for the rapid implementation of measures and implementation of the SEC model in the local communities.
