Local energy Agency Pomurje, Institution for promotion of sustainable energy development was established in 2005 to perform development, research, educational, promotion and consultation activities in the fields of continual improvement of energy efficiency and accelerated introduction of use of renewable energy sources in Pomurje Region, with focus on maximization of local energy self-sufficiency of region and strengthening of wealth of inhabitants. Our every-day activities include promotion of RUE and RES for awarenes raising and informing the inhabitants, SME's and local authorities of Pomurje Region. Our vision is to become key programme setting, implementation, negotiation and representative institution in the sphere of improvement and enforcement of RES and RUE and energy sustainable development of the Pomurje region, in North-Eastern Slovenia and cross-boarder region (Slovenia-Austria-Hungary-Croatia).
